New Car Purchase

All new Formula Enterprises and SCCA Spec Racers are sold in kit form.

A purchase agreement is issued by the local SCCA Customer Service Rep for the purchase of the new car kit.

After SCCA Enterprises receives the purchase order with payment, the kit is readied for shipping to the customer or the CSR. Usually 10 days after the order is received in Denver, the kit is delivered.

Robinson Motor Sports recommends that the new kit be assembled by the RMS technicians in our shop at an extra cost of $3,000. Included in the assembly by RMS is the first run time at a test day to fit the car to the driver and instruct the new owner on the systems and provide info on running the new car.

Purchase price for the SCCA Spec Racer is $27,500 in kit form. The price does not include the shipping crate (estimated to be $900) nor the shipping costs to get the kit to the customer.

Purchase price for the Formula Enterprises is based on the exchange rate of the British Pound and varies. As of late 2008, the cost of the Formula Enterprises was $49,900. Please call for the latest updated price, 321 674 5003.

The full bodied version of the Formula Enterprises car is the SCCA Sports Racer. It's the same car, only with a full body. Due to more body sections that come with the sports racer version, the cost is approximately $3,000 higher. As with the Formula Enterprises car, the cost of the car is based on the exchange rate with the British Pound. As of late 2008, the cost of the SCCA Sports Racer was $52,900.

It is possible to switch the bodies to have the car either a formula car or the sports racer car!

We again recommend that the FE or the Sports Racer versions of the car be assembled by RMS at an additional cost of $3,500. This rate includes the first run time at a test day to fit the car to the driver and instruct the new owner on the systems and provide info on running the new car.
