RMS in the News Tapia Wins at Daytona in RMS Rental FE
DAYTONA, FL (September 2009)
He qualified 2nd, 1 second off the pole qualifying time and on Saturday, raced to a close 2nd place finish.
It’s the first time Phil had driven an FE car in almost 2 years. As a previous FE car owner, he sold his personal car and tried several different types of racing before returning to the SCCA and
the FE class. He rented one of the Robinson Motor Sports FE cars for the 3 race weekend.
After his second place finish on Saturday, Phil won both races on Sunday! “I felt more comfortable in the car on the last race, it’s coming back and I’m pleased with how I drove the car today” he stated as he got out of the car on Sunday afternoon.
Look for Phil to be in a Robinson Motor Sports FE for some future races to continue his winning ways!
SCCA Formula Enterprise Van Diemens are for rent from Robinson Motor Sports for any SCCA event. We also use the cars for corporate days, track days with PBOC and Tracktime, as well as FARA events.
