Robinson Motor Sports attends about 40 events a year. We are the contracted suppliers with the SCCA Enterprises to attend as many events a possible in our surrounding areas.

While attending the local SCCA races, we also travel out of the area. It is not uncommon to see the Robinson Motor Sports semi transporter at Virginia International, Carolina Motorsports Park, Watkins Glen, Lime Rock, New Jersey Motorsports Park and Road America.

We also attend several drivers clubs, such as PBOC, PCA and Chin Motorsports events.

The local tracks that we attend in the Robinson Motor Sports service area are;

  • Road Atlanta, Braselton Georgia
  • Roebling Road just outside of Savannah Georgia
  • Daytona Speedway in Daytona Florida
  • Sebring Int'l Raceway in Sebring Florida
  • Palm Beach Int'l Raceway near Palm Beach Gardens Florida
  • Homestead Miami-Dade Speedway in Florida City Florida
Road Atlanta
Road Atlanta is a hilly northern Georgia track. The extremely fast uphill first turn has the car right on the edge to carry maximum speed up the steep hill. The down hill off camber esses gets your attention and the very steep down hill brake zone for turn 10 and 10a are a great place for that last lap pass, leading to the full throttle right on the front straight! The elevation changes and high speed of this track are really exciting to drive!

It is world famous as several major sanctioning bodies have races here, such as ALMS, SCCA Pro Racing, Pro F2000 and many others.

Places to stay are in Oakwood and Gainseville with several top name hotel brands at each location.

Roebling Road
Roebling Road is a great club course. Not very well known outside of the club racers, this just repaved flat track is very fast, mostly 4th gear in the Spec Racers and 3rd, 4th and 5th in the Formula Enterprises car. Long sweepers with double apexes are a treat here to a good handling car. RMS holds the track record here for the FE cars.

Several main hotel chains have locations at the Pooler exit on I-95, mile markers 102 and 108.

Daytona Speedway
Daytona Speedway in Daytona Beach Florida has it all! A tight infield course that leads onto the longest straights that we race on in Florida! If you like driving fast and working the draft, this is the place to drive! We are in top gear longer here than any other race track. Turn one is very fast and you can enter this turn in 3rd place and either come out leading or falling back to 6th if you are not careful. This track will teach you all about drafting and it is not uncommon to run in a pack with 8 to 10 cars all drafting and working to get a great finish! Mark Eaton holds the track record here in an RMS FE car!

Tons of hotels near this track, by the speedway or right on the beach!!

Palm Beach International Raceway

Palm Beach International Raceway has just been completely rebuilt, or should we say is still under construction!! We raced here recently and the track is a blast to drive. While the land is flat, there are 2 very banked corners that allow the cars to get to high speed on the back side of the track. It's very flat and loooong back straight is great for high speed drafting and the brake zone at the end of the back stretch determines the winner! Who can break later and still make the 270 degree corner that leads to the front straight and the finish line wins!!! How deep can you go??

Hotels for this track are at Palm Beach Gardens and PGA Blvd.

Sebring International Raceway
Sebring International Raceway located south of Orlando in Sebring Florida. What an historic racetrack! It is mostly made of concrete runways from an old WWII air base and it's rough on the cars and drivers, but we wouldn't have it any other way!! Name a famous driver and they have driven on this racetrack. Turn one is very fast and bumpy, not to be outdone by the turn 17, again fast and it has a huge bump at the apex! Hang on and carry as much speed as you can because there are several passing zones on the track!

Sebring has several named hotels and some private locations also like the Inn On The Lakes, a racer's favorite!

Homestead Miami-Dade Speedway
Homestead Miami-Dade Speedway is located south of Miami near Homestead Fla. This relatively new race facility is huge! It has a 1.5 mile oval and a great road course with a couple of eleveation changes to make it interesting! Fast and challenging, this track layout has great racing! Very seldom can someone break away as the tight infield corners and the long straight allow other cars to catch up if they work together.

Florida City is the location for hotels for events here, along with several great restaurants!
